America’s Best Faith-Sharing event!

After two hours at the gas pumps, everyone wins! Car drivers receive a gas discount. Gas station owners are thrilled with the added traffic flow to their businesses, and Christians practice a no-pressure approach to sharing the difference Jesus Christ has made in their lives. This is why the Gas Buy-Down is one of the world’s best faith-sharing events used today!

After the initial training and role playing, you’ll take it live to a local gas station. Signs display a 25-cent discount off each gallon of gas and in no time lines form at every pump. While fueling you’ll ask the driver, “What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?” Then you’ll ask, “May I share the best thing that has ever happened to me?” And if given the opportunity, you’ll share a few words about the difference Christ has made in your life.

During the first 15 minutes you’ll wonder just how you got roped into doing this. Then something wonderful happens. Around the fourth customer, you’ll get your legs and some confidence, the butterflies leave and a holy thrill takes over. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment when you share your faith without stuttering and gas customers actually thank you for sharing. It’s sort of like learning how to ride a bike for the first time. Victory sets in and fear is replaced with thrill.
